Herniamesh S.r.l., Italian manufacturer of surgical meshes for treatment of hernia and female incontinence and pelvic floor, has sold a majority stake to Vitrex Medical Group (VMG), a European manufacturer of medical devices and in vitro diagnostic products. VMG supplies medical consumables across four core product platforms: surgical wound closure, injection drug delivery, blood collection and sample handling, and diabetes care. Through this transaction, Herniamesh aims to expand its geographic reach and commercialize its products through VMG’s sales network, thereby accelerating its growth trajectory.
